Since October of 2021 the federal government implemented a mandatory vaccination policy for domestic and international travel as well as federal & federally regulated employees.
We’re hopeful that these mandates won’t be reinstated with the emergence of new variants. But that remains to be seen.

For months over 200 Toronto Police officers and civilian employees, have been on unpaid leave because of their individual decisions to not be vaccinated.

In February 2022, the University of Toronto faculty filed a Human Rights complaint with legal counsel. This action has already seen the university’s administration rescind much of the covid related mandates including vaccinations, masking, and health screening.
