I have 3 members of my family and my husband has 2 members of his family who got Covid, all with symptoms and tested positive. My family all stayed home and isolated from each other. With nutritional guidance and protocol, all 3 were back on their feet within 3-4, bored stiff. On husband’s side, one stayed home with severe breathing issues and extreme fatigue, then his girlfriend got the same. Both back on their feet after a 3 weeks or so. The member of my husband’s family needed intubation and induced coma for over 2 weeks, and though out of ICU, is still too weak to stand and in regular hospital room. All this to say, that I personally know people who got Covid,(some with, others without co-morbidity). As for the LTC homes, what is the reasoning of shoving active Covid patients in with the residents! That is purely criminal! I don’t agree with the any of the mandates, lockdowns, masks and so on. The human cost of this will far, far, outweigh the damage from Covid, not to minimize the sufferings of those who have gone and still are going through it, neither the death of all who didn’t make it. But, when is it going to be “safe” to start living again? When are we ever going to see the low number of cases they’re requiring? When will they admit that many of the 3rd wave comes from the side effects or reactions of those who already got the shot, and so, we will never see the end of it?

Regarding masks, I was by a family member and also a friend, one from B.C., the other from Ontario who were told they would need to keep their mask on while in labor and while giving birth. They’re both having home births as imposing mask wearing in labor and childbirth is ludicrous. And they were told that mask exemption was does change the matter.
