James Topp - Walk a Mile in his Shoes

Police On Guard For Thee is proud to count amongst its ranks, members such as James Topp. We are all following his march across Canada and heartily support his endeavour. James has set out on foot, as he did for 28 years as a soldier, to once again pick up the fight for Canadians. This time for their most basic human rights. This is illustrated directly in his
Mission Statement:
We rise to serve Canadians with honesty, respect and compassion, for the purpose of reuniting our people. We do this, with the intention of ensuring our government upholds the laws that support Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Police On Guard is asking the membership and the public to support James in any way that they can. Further to that, we are encouraging all to engage in the following:

Fill his Mess Tin- Be a solid fire team partner and help James’s advance on his way to Ottawa. You can assist in various way; by donating VISA gift cards to help pay costs while en route, create a route and help navigate the march, and finally, at James’ request, you could donate to Wounded Warriors. All these items can be found at www.canadamarches.ca

Boots on the Ground- Follow his progress on GPS and when James comes into your town, strap your boots on and march with him. Show your patriotism, walk a mile in his boots and cheer him on his way.

On Target- Following this gruelling journey, the march will culminate in the nation’s capital. We encourage everyone to be there, to recognize the sheer dedication to this country that James has displayed once again. Gather and show this patriot that Canada has his back.

Be sure to follow James’s journey, as we’ll be posting every Thursday in our series, James Topp – Walk a Mile in his Shoes.
