Trudeau and Cabinet will Obtain EA Inquiry Verdict Ahead of the Public

Secrecy continues to plague the Public Order Emergency Commission, the Prime Minister, and Justice Paul Rouleau.  The report set to be released to the House of Commons and the Senate no later than February 20th, 2023, is now set to be released two weeks early to the Prime Minister and his government. This type of action by a commission is unprecedented in Canadian history.

As with the Government failing to release their information regarding the legal opinion on invoking of the Emergencies Act to the Commission, Prime Minister Trudeau now gets the report first.

Many scenarios are at play here however the concern to the Canadian public should be transparency.
What does the government have to hide?  Was the legal opinion around the Emergency Act not to the governments favor?  How can a judicial process come to a fair and true finding of the facts when the facts aren’t presented?  Why would Justice Rouleau not demand to see the legal opinion?  He had the power to force the government to produce those documents.

Now Justice Rouleau is releasing his findings to the Prime Minister and his cabinet.  Again, where is the transparency.  Would the Prime Minister and the Liberals use this opportunity to use the findings to their advantage?  Would the Prime Minister use his influence to have Justice Rouleau change his findings prior to the formal release?  We only need to look back upon the many ethic violations of Trudeau to justify that train of thought.  Think of Jody Wilson-Raybould and you can see that Trudeau is not above using his influence to interfere with the judicial process.

At the time of this post, mainstream media has failed to mention any of this to the Canadian public.  The largest legal protest in Canadian history that led to invoking of the Emergencies Act and countless number of people with their lives interrupted and the media is silent.  One should ask how much the government is now in control of what news the public is allowed to hear.

This action by the Commission and the Trudeau government should not go without questions by the Canadian people.  Canadians deserve far more from their Prime Minister, their government, and their judiciary.
