Public servants serve out of the love for our fellow Canadians and the fundamental freedoms we enjoy in Canada as a free country earned by the sacrifices of our grandparents and great grandparents before us. I’m proud to be another servant who has served in a long line of military, police and firefighters for several generations. We all need to stand firm in these principles that we have fought to uphold.
