Thank you Bryan Cramer for joining in support of Police on Guard for Thee.

During my long career, and even now as a volunteer, I continue, to work side by side with the Police Officers, and have a great deal of respect and admiration for them.

I get to witness first-hand how they have to perform in the various aspects of their under-appreciated duties, all while under the scrutiny of a very powerful microscope, and disassociated hierarchy.

No matter what the situation, they are the “People’s” first line of defense in the fight to ensure a peaceful and safe society, while still dedicated to defending their constitutional rights.

Many have paid the ultimate sacrifice for that service, and unfortunately, many more will fall as they valiantly continue to fight a war without end.

I think most police officers understand only too well, once they leave the force, and become ordinary citizens, will have to live under the same rules and regulations as everyone else, whatever they may be at that time.

We all know they are currently being used as a tool to ultimately undermine the very fabric of our democracy and constitution, even if it violates the very oath they took when they began their careers.

I can’t think of a worse position to be in.

We are all in this together, and together we shall prevail.
