An access to information request received in 2022 asked for information pertaining to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) “COVID-19 vaccination mandate and public health measures. After the requested extension deadline was ignored, a complaint was filed with the Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) ending with the Information Commissioner, Caroline Maynard, issuing an order for Department of National Defence to comply by December 2023.
The Information Commissioner has also filed a lawsuit of her own against the DND and Defence Minister Bill Blair for refusing to comply.

Auditor General Paul Martin completed a review of New Brunswick’s Covid-19 response and presented it to the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
The Department of Health was unable to provide any evidence used. In fact, any hard evidence that may have been used was disposed of and no one knows why.
