Covid Vaccination in Children and the Law

In 2019 the New Brunswick Provincial government introduced Bill C39 which attempted to end non medical vaccination exemptions for school aged children. In June 2020 the bill was defeated by a narrow margin.

What is of paramount importance is that the original drafting of the bill recognized the constitutional issues surrounding such a policy. The bill intended to invoke the notwithstanding clause which would prevent any court or charter challenges.

What have we seen?

First policies were implemented to entice children 12-17 to get vaccinated without parental approval. In Toronto ice cream was offered. This is just one example. Now children 5-11 who participate in clinical trials are being called superheroes. In a November 23rd press conference Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott referred to them as such. The propaganda and coercion that has infested this issue is unfathomable. Police on Guard believes in the rule of law and that the answer to these issues require a court ruling.

The takeaway – Provincial governments are well aware that mandatory vaccinations infringe on citizens fundamental Charter rights.
