Randal Linton of Waterloo Ontario, attended an anti-lockdown rally in 2021. After evidence of his attendance surfaced, he was charged under the Reopening Ontario Act, with an additional charge added under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.
With the support and advocacy of The Democracy Fund, negotiations resulted in an agreement and all charges were dropped.
