Adjudicator Rules Quebec Police Officer Banned From Policing For 1 Year for Opposing Covid Mandates
Constable Maxime Ouimet, of Laval Quebec, stood up to mandates he believed were unjust and unlawful, refusing to enforce curfews and speaking out against other Covid mandates. As a result, the ethics tribunal has found him in breach of his Code of Ethics and suspended him from service for one year.
