Police on Guard’s Chris VandenBos speaks with Martha Oppel, a parishioner of The Church of God in Aylmer.
We became aware of Martha after she received an $880 ticket by Aylmer Police after attending a Church Service.
Martha has spent the majority of her early life running from Oppression. From communism, to Nazi socialism, before ending up in Canada. She immediately fell in love with our “True North Strong and Free”. She has made Canada home ever since, until recently. To Martha, Canada’s government is becoming too familiar with her historical voyage through tyranny. She has decided to leave this land, and is bound for a state where her freedoms remain.

Which country, after 68 years in Canada, has Martha chosen to move to? I do understand privacy laws but at 86 years old it may be a challenge. I hope she is able to enjoy the rest of her life in freedom and peace.
