Calgary Court Drops The Majority of COVID Tickets

According to a recent CTV News article, Calgary police and bylaw have handed out some 367 tickets for failing to wear a mask and 206 tickets under the Public Health Act. Interestingly, the majority of the tickets that have made it to the court are immediately withdrawn by the Crown.

Harsher penalties may come, but in the meantime, most tickets are dropped.
