Canadian Courts Have Become Politicized on COVID-19 Litigation

Since lockdowns and restrictions were implemented, we’ve witnessed the erosion of our basic rights and the overreaching intrusions of our government and their ‘experts’.

We’ve vowed to see these egregious efforts halted, believing our voices will prevail once they reach our courts. Now we truly see the extent to which our courts have been compromised by political influence.

There are many good rulings, cases that are weighed on merit and balanced by laws and precedence. Where an unbiased evaluation of the facts leads to an impartial judgement applied within the truest intent of the law.

Then comes the appeal. A look at the top shows us Liberal appointees who continue to demonstrate a willingness to set aside good legal judgement, impartiality, and precedence in exchange for good standing with political associates, touting the line at all costs.

A recent example can be found in the family court case, JN vs CG, where the sole decision maker for the children, who felt it was in their best interest to wait for more data on the covid vaccines before allowing the children to participate, was challenged by the other parent who demanded they be vaccinated.

The initial judgement from the family courts was detailed and took into account every aspect of the facts before rendering a decision in favour of the primary caregiver. The ruling on appeal turned that on its head. Despite increasing evidence pointing to the risks and failings of the vaccines, the Liberal-appointed Appeal panel essentially concluding that, since the government advised for vaccination, the parent opposing the government narrative was in the wrong.

This is a familiar story. A complete disregard for the world-renowned specialists in favour of government funded ‘data’, the erosion of a parent’s rights and controls, the retributions doled out to those who dare ask questions. As the Children’s Health Defence observed, our courts are clearly in bed with our government.

We call on those in our courts who still stand with honesty and integrity, refusing the allure of politics and power, to stand strong. We stand with you, with our Charter and with all Canadians.
