A Globe And Mail article published in January of this year relays the detrimental impact that the lockdown has had on the mental well-being of Canadians. “It’s often said that police have been put in the position to be the de facto mental-health system,” says Inspector Chris Boddy. “That’s not what anybody wants. People may be having difficulty finding other services available right now.”
