Victory for Dr. Peter McCullough

A favourable ruling for American Doctor Peter McCullough was handed down by the courts in early 2023. Dr McCullough faced a $1 million dollar lawsuit from a Texas hospital for opposing the covid narrative that was being presented in the media.

The courts dismissed the lawsuit which is being seen as a victory for freedom of speech among the medical community.

We have seen a similar silencing of alternative medical opinions in Canada. Doctors and practitioners such as Dr McCullough have been ostracized and had their careers negatively affected for speaking against the government’s policies and advocating for their patients’ medical freedom and informed consent. Multiple reports out of the United States are shedding light on large tech companies such as Facebook and Twitter censoring these medical opinions that are based on expertise and data.

It is also concerning that lawsuits can be launched against doctors as a way to coerce and intimidate. Medical science is supposed to be based on qualitative and quantitative analysis, discourse, and debate.
