Toronto Mom Who Spoke Out Against Pride Stickers At Catholic School Board Meeting, Fired

“Safe Space” – words used to show support for LGBTQ individuals. Printed across rainbow flags, they can be found in businesses, on office doors and classroom walls.
One would expect that an entire school should be a ‘safe space’, and not just for the rainbow population but for all students.
Canadians have long understood that we are free to express opinions, and that others may oppose those opinions, which is also acceptable. Everyone has the right to feel safe in their expression of religion and speech.
In the present day there is a woke agenda aimed at destroying our cultural identity; we are no longer allowed to express our individuality for fear of offending others who may disagree. Yet, these ‘offended’ individuals can be as vocal and aggressive as they wish, so long as they target only those belonging to traditional same-sex or Christian populations.
The very foundation of our country has been labelled racist – a slander that makes no sense, unless sexual orientation is somehow a ‘race’ (the term ‘race’ is defined as an identifiable population based on physical traits and has nothing to do with beliefs or how you choose to dress).
Of particular concern in the redefining of acceptable expression is the traditional Christian population whose very belief system states that homosexuality is a sin. How can they come to terms in a world where the LGBTQ community are afforded more rights than the very belief system our country was founded on? Simply put, modern Christianity is far removed from the traditional beliefs we grew up with.
Parents of students in Catholic schools have repeatedly voiced their disgust over these signs and other attempts to indoctrinate their children against their traditional beliefs. One such parent, Sheree Di Vittoria, was fired from her job with AutoTrader, when the video and media reports of their confrontation with the school board went public. No explanation has been provided by her employer.
Today it is obvious that Christian schools and businesses alike have pushed aside long-held beliefs in support of the LGBTQ agenda.
We ask, where then is the ‘safe space’ for the rest of us?
