Police on Guard for Thee

.

As a kid growing up in a small community in northern Manitoba, I was always in awe of the RCMP and Firefighters. I was also inspired by stories of my Grandfather who was a constable in the Royal Northwest Mounted Police at the turn of the century. Their dedication to the community, helping people in need or in danger left a lifelong impression on me. I joined the fire service in 1973 setting out on a life in emergency response that I had no idea what it would entail. The career did not let me down! It left me battered and bruised some days but the experience and challenge were always deeply gratifying and morally rewarding. I spent the next 40+ years doing everything I could for the community and the people who gave of themselves everyday to serve and protect the public. I worked through ranks in Operations, Fire Prevention, Director of Training, Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief, and Chief. During my career I spent a great deal of time on education endeavours in risk management and disaster planning from which I assisted several cities and towns with their staffing and operational response planning. Currently I still function as a risk management consultant. When the pandemic arose, and being familiar with the SARS response, I immediately questioned the planning efforts and became very critical of the response by all levels of government. However, I quickly realized my voice, along with many professionals, was stifled and censored by MSM and social media. Questions always went unanswered! My investigative critical thinking and talent for research kicked in when I began to see the abuses of Canadians and their Charter Rights. In

Police on Guard for Thee.
I found a voice of like-minded folks who care about Canadians and their rights. I chose to stand with them. We hope you will too.
