I have decided to join this movement after watching the profession that I had been proud to serve within for so many years, being placed in situations of conflict with the people we serve. We are being pitted against our fellow citizens and our reputations are being seriously damaged. This has already set us back many years in terms of community support and from what I can see, there is no scientific reason to support any of it. I believe we are simply being placed in this situation because politicians are scared to lose the next election.
