The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) filed a constitutional challenge in the Supreme Court against the government for their mandatory application of the ArriveCAN app. Regrettably, with the mandate withdrawn at the time the case was heard, the argument was declared moot, and the case was dismissed.

One by one, we are seeing the tickets, fines and actions levied against Canadians as a direct result of their refusal to comply with the covid mandates, fade into oblivion.
Mr. Rachid Chadli was already out of country when the Quarantine Act came into effect. On his return trip he was told he must comply, at his own cost. He chose to contest the fine and have his day in court. When his day in court was postponed for more than two years it became clear that he would not have this right and the prosecutor dismissed his case.
