A Charter case brought forward last year by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, on behalf of a group of eight Ontario residents, was struck down as moot indicating that, since the mandates have ended, there is no longer any value to Canadians in pursuing an outcome.
The case brought before the Appeal Court by Brian Peckford, Maxime Bernier, Shaun Rickard and Karl Harrison by the JCCF over the Travel Mandates was again dismissed, with the Federal Court’s ruling on mootness upheld.
