Recently a series of charges and fines, issued because of participation in the Freedom Convoy in February 2022 or in acting contrary to legislation related to COVID-19, have been dismissed by the courts.
You may have read that the courts have upheld the right of Western University to mandate vaccines and require proof of vax status, in response to a lawsuit by five of their students.
An appeal is being pursued based on Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
The abuses by Police Agencies and the Federal Government continue to mount against everyday Canadians. The fact the RCMP shared personal information of convoy supporters to financial institutions without court process should be alarming to every Canadian regardless of feelings towards the convoy.

Another all too familiar article where police officers have been charged under the Police Services Act for donating to the freedom convoy.
It needs to be reiterated that these officers did absolutely nothing wrong, that they were supporting a cause they believe in, that the donations were made as private citizens, and that their names should have never been released in the first place.
