Eric Lemmon, charged with mischief and disobeying a court order for allegedly blocking traffic on the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, saw his charges dismissed when it was determined by Crown prosecutors that “there was no reasonable prospect of conviction”.

One by one, we are seeing the tickets, fines and actions levied against Canadians as a direct result of their refusal to comply with the covid mandates, fade into oblivion.
Mr. Rachid Chadli was already out of country when the Quarantine Act came into effect. On his return trip he was told he must comply, at his own cost. He chose to contest the fine and have his day in court. When his day in court was postponed for more than two years it became clear that he would not have this right and the prosecutor dismissed his case.

In the winter of 2022, while the Freedom Convoy demonstrations were happening in Ottawa, truckers also blocked the border crossing between Coutts, Alberta and Sweetgrass, Montana.
14 truckers were charged with parking violations which have been recently withdrawn in court, after it was found that they had been charged using a law not applicable to their alleged conduct.
