JCCF Announces Courts Dismissed Judicial Review Application for Lawsuit Regarding Quarantine Hotels

Once again we see the timely suspension of federal mandates provide the excuse of ‘muteness’ for courts to refuse to hear lawsuits aimed at addressing government overreach.
A recent example reported by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms outlines the Federal Court of Appeal supports of the Supreme Court decision to dismiss lawsuits requesting judicial review of federal mandates that forced Canadians into quarantine hotels, against their will and at their own cost.

Canadian Frontline Nurses to Appeal Recent Case Dismissal

Ontario Superior Court Justice Marie-Andree Vermette dismissed a lawsuit brought forward by Canadian Frontline Nurses, against Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) and an unidentified news source, for libel.  On December 23rd Vermette dismissed this case using the SLAPP law.  
Canadian Frontline Nurses are appealing the decision.
