Police on Guard Donates to Food Banks Canada and Wounded Warriors

December 2022 will be the 2nd anniversary of Police on Guard’s inception. When we decided to register as a not-for-profit organization, we wanted to be able to give back to charities that were important to us.

We just completed our 1st year as a not-for-profit and, as promised, made donations to both Food Banks Canada and Wounded Warriors.

Given the state of our economy, we wanted to donate to Food Banks Canada to bridge the gap in the face of increased food security. We know many families are struggling and it was important to us to donate where it was needed most.

Wounded Warriors is close to many of our hearts given the mental health aspect that goes along with careers such as ours.
We recognize that we are in the midst of a mental health epidemic in our country and, indeed, around the world. Rates of depression, anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, addictions, and deaths by suicide are at an all-time high, with predictable negative impacts on families and communities. We wanted to donate to an organization that is at the forefront in dealing with these issues and supporting our Veterans and First Responders.

Since our inception, we’ve seen many Veterans and First Responders join us in standing up and speaking out against the violations of our Charter rights. These members are integral to changing things on the inside within their respective services.
Donating to Wounded Warriors allows us to support those that need it most.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has reached out with your donations and kind words over the last 22 months, we could not do this without everyone standing alongside of us.
