Mama Bears Mental Health Program - Presentation #2

We are proud to be the National Coordinators for Mama Bears and are excited to share Presentation #2 of the Mental Health Program.

In Presentation #2, Dr. Andrew Pleener will breakdown the science of mental health and introduce the #SameHere Scale. He will show participants that everyone in the world lives on a fluid mental health continuum that changes as a result of life experiences, physical traumas, lifestyle choices, genetics and many other factors. With our physical health, we have scales to track how our weight fluctuates over time and thermometers to gauge how our temperature changes.
With the #SameHere Scale App, we have a way to record the changes and trends of our emotional health by using a consistent, universal language.

This session seeks to explain the science of mental health and how participants can have greater agency their own mental health on a daily basis through the #SameHere Scale.
