Class Action Lawsuit Launched Against Alberta Provincial Government Over COVID-19 Restrictions

Leighton Grey, of Grey Wowk Spencer LLP, is spearheading a class action lawsuit on behalf of those injured by the covid ‘vaccine’, including families who have lost loved ones because of the mandates.

Mr. Grey, in an interview with Hal Roberts, speaks of the 400 plus requests he has received from those interested in potentially joining the lawsuit which aims to hold the Canadian government and big pharma accountable for the unimaginable damages done.

The Alberta Court of King’s Bench ruled in July that the Alberta covid restrictions were ‘invalid’ in that they were ultimately implemented by the politicians and not by the Chief Medical Officer herself, which is the only approved course of action outlined in the Public Health Act of Alberta. As a result of this ruling, many tickets issued to individuals and businesses for infractions of the covid mandates have been (or will be) dismissed. The next step is to address the resulting damage caused by these illegal mandates.

Jeff Rath, with Rath and Company Barristers and Solicitors, calls on Premier Danielle Smith to ‘do the right thing’ with the province’s $12 billion surplus, commenting “on what planet should the financial burden of orders issued for the benefit of society as a whole fall on the shoulders of small businesspeople in the Province of Alberta?”

Chris Scott, owner of the Whistle Stop Café, shares his experiences, noting that he was “forced to stand up to the might of the administrative state in the face of Alberta Health Services illegally seizing my business at gunpoint, dragging me away in handcuffs, throwing me in jail and padlocking the enterprise that feeds my family.” “I was assaulted, jailed and my liberty violated under the guise of phoney Public Health Orders that had no business being issued in a free and democratic society,” “I was slandered, libelled, and defamed by Government propaganda, including having ‘teachers’ telling my child I was comparable to a Nazi.”

We stand with these citizens in their fight for justice. With confirmation that the mandates were in fact illegal, we hope this case will help put an end to these (and future) restrictions.
