Though we have different Constitutions and in Canada specifically we have the Charter. Officers in Canada also took an oath. Police on Guard has maintained a firm stance since its inception in advocating for the Charter of Rights and Freedoms of all Canadians. This video further illustrates that case law has been established that the government cannot breach the rights of Canadians unjustifiably.

First off, I would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all those who have been there to support me through all of this.
Due to the manner in which the school handled this situation and because of some of the hatred and attacks that I have received, I have reluctantly decided to separate myself from this. Although I fully support your right to peacefully protest, my family and I have made the difficult decision that I will no longer be able to follow through with this walkout that was intended to take place at Holy Names Catholic High School at 2pm, alongside my fellow students.
