Canadians were Wiretapped during the Freedom Convoy

“I’m actually quite fond of China……” Justin Trudeau

Police on Guard has received information that active and retired Police Officers had their communications intercepted from February 18-19th, 2022.
Pursuant to Section 188 of the Criminal Code, a Judge must be satisfied that the urgency of the situation requires interception before a normal authorization could be obtained.
This brings to question, what actual evidence did they present to a Judge to obtain this warrant under emergency authorization?

This action goes far and beyond that of the Canadian Government indiscriminately tracking cell phones from December 2020 until September 2021 during the pandemic.

Although there is case law preventing authorities from “fishing trips” with wiretaps, Canadian law has some of the weakest requirements for wiretap warrants in the western world. Wiretaps are easy to get and are common in Canada. Canadian police tap more per capita than our U.S. counterparts.

With a Prime Minister who admires communist regimes these actions against our Charter of Rights and Freedoms come at a cost, but not a surprise.

Rebel News has created a page on their website to address this. Click the link to view the page, Stop the Wiretapping, along with a short interview with a retired Police Officer, who’s data was intercepted and a member of Police on Guard, Rob Stocki.
