Various media outlets have recently reported on individual travellers receiving fines for not submitting to mandatory COVID19 tests when arriving at Pearson Airport.
With quarantine and isolation facilities being a prominent subject of discussion recently, we’ve been receiving questions about the Quarantine Act and how it relates to travel. We’ve highlighted the important parts, but please see the link to read the act in its entirety. Non-compliance of these requirements could be subject to fines and/or jail time. We are not giving legal advice, but rather our interpretations of the laws.
Thank you Nathan Kocis for joining in support of Police on Guard for Thee.
