Everything she had said is like a recording of what I’ve been saying for the past year. No one will answer my questions. No one will get back to me. My life was temporarily hanging on by a thread but I picked myself up, dusted off the haters and bullies, found a few jobs as an RN unvaxxed. I’m now living my best life. I will never go back to The hospital. Being given a leave of absence went from a nightmare to the most beautiful gift I received. I’m out of the stress and trenches and now work in occupational health at two companies as a contract nurse. I graduated in 1997 and this is my happiest funnest time of my whole nursing career. Mentally I had to let go of all the negativity and guilt I felt. I realized that there was nothing I could do. It will have to take an army of victims, unfortunately, to bring about change. Not one alone RN. 2022 is now the year of me. Covid and my workplace drove me to suicide for so many reasons. I’m here. I was lucky. So I know live for me. Of course for my friends and family, but I’m going to do and accomplish everything I want. Nothing will ever force me into darkness again.
