$500 Million Lawsuit Launched Against Military for Vaccine Mandates With Over 300 CAF Members Signing On

This is a follow up to our recent post regarding a military tribunal that determined the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) infringed on service members’ Charter rights with their ‘arbitrary’ and ‘overly broad’ vaccine mandates.

The lawyer in the above-mentioned tribunal is now pursuing a lawsuit on behalf of 330 active and former CAF members who have shared the many harms suffered as a result of the Covid-19 vaccine mandates; some are vaccine injured, others were forced outside in winter, without heat or water, as a means of ‘isolation’.

The lawsuit names high-ranking military officials including Chief of the Defence Staff General Wayne Eyre, Vice Chief of the Defence Staff Lieutenant-General Frances Allen, Minister of National Defence Anita Anand, former Deputy Minister of National Defence Jody Thomas and others, as responsible parties, and seeks damages totalling $500 million.

Their statement of claim notes “The CAF shirked its own purpose and rushed an untested product onto its members, mislabeled this experimental gene therapy a ‘vaccine,’ knowingly made false statements of safety and efficacy, and facilitated its mandate with no option to refuse except for mandatory permanent removal from service.”

The article describes the CAF’s abuse of power, pointing to their dismissal of express legislative intended to limit CAF actions thus “allowing the physical and/or psychological torture of unvaccinated members under the command of CAF-commissioned officers,”

The mandates did not allow for refusal on any grounds, and the alternative was either forced retirement or dismissal under 5F, labelling them ‘unfit for duty’; a devastating blow to an exemplary military career, affecting their military records, future employment opportunities, benefits, and pensions.

Although the CAF has since relaxed it’s requirement for vaccination as a condition of service, it has staunchly maintained the requirement for the minimum of a primary series (two vaccines) for many operational roles.

Someone must answer for these atrocities. We look forward to following this case through to a positive outcome for all involved.
