Government Redacts Access to Information Request Surrounding Covid Data by Media Publication, The Canadian Independent

The Canadian Independent has submitted an access to information request to the Public Health Agency of Canada for raw data reported by provinces and territories regarding age, vaccine status, hospitalizations, and deaths related to Covid-19 (no personal information was requested).
The original request was prolonged and when the information was received, the raw data requested was redacted.

Defense Minister & Department of National Defence, Sued By Information Commissioner Over Failure to Release Covid Policy Records

An access to information request received in 2022 asked for information pertaining to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) “COVID-19 vaccination mandate and public health measures. After the requested extension deadline was ignored, a complaint was filed with the Office of the Information Commissioner (OIC) ending with the Information Commissioner, Caroline Maynard, issuing an order for Department of National Defence to comply by December 2023.
The Information Commissioner has also filed a lawsuit of her own against the DND and Defence Minister Bill Blair for refusing to comply.
