Arbitrator Rules Suspension of Unvaccinated Remote Canada Post Workers Unreasonable
In a case brought forward by the Union of Postal Communications Employees (UPCE) against the employer, Canada Post, arbitrator Michelle Flaherty has found Canada Post’s policy on mandatory vaccination for employees who work entirely remotely, is unreasonable, as was the subsequent suspension without pay applied to these individuals.
Notice of Discontinuance for Vaccine Choice Canada’s Legal Action Over Covid
Vaccine Choice Canada (VCC) has filed a “Notice of Discontinuance” for their legal action filed on July 6, 2020. For reasons they have made clear in their statement, they believe that the current state of our justice system in Canada is unlikely to support an just decision in their case and, for the sake of protecting the defendants, have chosen to forgo this legal action.

Judge Lukasz Granosik of the Quebec Superior Court has authorized two class-action lawsuits: one targeting the actions of the social media platform Facebook, the other aimed at YouTube’s parent company, Google LLC.
Professor and Biochemist with 35 Years Experience Fired Over Criticizing Covid Vaccine
Dr Patrick Provost, professor and biochemist with 35 years of experience in genomics, lipid nanoparticles and RNA, received a letter in March of 2024 explaining that he had been fired by Quebec’s Université Laval (ULaval) due to his criticisms of Covid-19 mRNA vaccines.
Scientist Wins Right to Appeal on Constitutional Grounds for Vaccine Employment Insurance Case
The Ontario Civil Liberties Association (OCLA) Executive Director Joseph Hickey has been granted leave to appeal an earlier decision preventing him from arguing the constitutionality of classifying an employee’s refusal of the Covid vaccine as “misconduct”.
